As the Process Engineer, you will join our driven and passionate Engineering Team and assist with the design and plant integration of our existing product line of thermal oxidizers. You will also contribute to the development of our new integrated Waste Heat to Power modular ORC and data solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the design of equipment using HYSIS or similar software, including heat integration and emissions calculations on a plant-wide basis.
  • Build collaborative client relationships that effectively manage their needs and communicate the integration of Questor’s systems.
  • Size equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers and fans
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Perform testing of new designs and generate reports/presentations to inform the team
  • Create engineering drawings for review, approval, and construction
  • Perform process calculations with the use of analysis software
  • Support the sizinging, designing and optimization of incinerators and ORC Heat to Power generators based on technical information provided by the clients, and generate corresponding design reports and recommendations
  • nteract with clients, assisting with the coordination of various stakeholders for meetings and project execution
  • Visit Questor’s Field offices and project installations, fabrication shops, and client sites as appropriate
  • Maintain relevant tickets and certifications in order to access worksites and workplaces (i.e., H2S Alive and First Aid)
  • Assist Project Engineer(s) with project specific designs and drawings
  • Collaborate with engineering support for field services and operations

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in process and equipment design
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Process Engineering from an accredited University
  • Currently holds a P.Eng designation with APEGA
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of related software
